Safari Highlights: This is a road safari beginning from Nairobi, Kenya and the drive takes you through the Kenya highlands vast plantations of tea, coffee, pineapples and subsistence farmlands. Safari to the semi-arid area of Samburu game reserve in the remote region of the Northern Kenya, and rift valley lake of Lake Nakuru, a home to millions of greater and less flamingoes among other different bird species and big game such as rhinos, leopard, lion, zebra, buffalo, antelope, hyena, among others.

Day 01: Nairobi - Samburu. Depart Nairobi at 08:00am and drive Northwards to Samburu Game Reserve via Mt. Kenya and past Coffee plantations. Lunch is served and game viewing drive en-route to see the rare reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk and the Somali Ostrich, all of which are rare in other game parks. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 02: Samburu. Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Accommodation at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 03: Samburu - Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, leave Camp/Lodge with game drive en-route. Drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Nakuru is located, via the Thompson Falls. Accommodation at Chester hotel or Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 04: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi. After breakfast, proceed for game viewing in Lake Nakuru national park, the ornithologists' paradise with 400 hundred bird spices and also known as a the pink lake due to the thousands of flamingoes that inhabit the Lake. Lake Nakuru is home to Waterbucks, Rhinos, warthogs Thomson's Gazelles, three climbing Lions, hyraxes and countless baboons hippos. Depart for Nairobi after lunch arriving in the early evening.
